Kabul Gumi Rehabilitation Hospital, operated by Kabul Medical Foundation, is the first convalescent rehabilitation medical institution in Gyeongbuk designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Following Kabul Jangyu Hospital in Gimhae and Kabul Noksan Hospital in Busan, our hospital is located in the 3rd National Industrial Complex in Gumi.

The hospital comprises seven floors above ground and one basement level, with a capacity of 190 beds. Our team includes specialists in Rehabilitation Medicine (Departments 1, 2, 3, and 4) and Internal Medicine, providing expert and comprehensive care.

Since opening Gumi’s first Central Nervous System Rehabilitation Center in 2016, Kabul Gumi Rehabilitation Hospital has continued to lead the region’s rehabilitation field. We were the first in Gumi to operate an integrated nursing care rehabilitation ward in 2018, and the first in Gyeongbuk to be designated as an industrial accident rehabilitation institution by the Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service. In 2021, we became the only hospital in Gyeongbuk to be designated as a first-phase convalescent rehabilitation medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and we were also the first in the province to be selected as a pilot institution for community-linked rehabilitation activities. As a specialized convalescent rehabilitation hospital, we provide tailored, integrated rehabilitation services for patients with stroke and spinal cord injuries.

We also operate patient social reintegration support programs.
